Center for Regenerative Medicine
CBR’s Center for Regenerative Medicine partners with leading medical institutions that are exploring the use of a newborn’s own stem cells to help heal injuries or treat conditions. To date, CBR’s efforts have resulted in CBR being the exclusive research partner for FDA-regulated clinical trials focused on hearing loss, traumatic brain injury and cerebral palsy. CBR supported patient enrollment in the first FDA-regulated clinical study on juvenile diabetes.
CBR gives families hope for a healthier future through the Newborn Possibilities Program®. Through this program, CBR offers free cord blood and tissue collection, processing, and five years of storage to qualifying families. We also help eligible families that are taking part in FDA-regulated clinical trials by supporting nonprofits that cover costs incurred by participating.
